Our instructors are very experienced invdividuals who share the same core values as our company to provide a quality flight training experience to their students.
Instinct Aviation Academy is operated out of Lancaster [KLNC] Regional Airport TX. Its an uncontrolled field which comes under the DFW class BRAVO Airspace. Training out at an uncontrolled field there won’t be much traffic, you can focus on practicing your takeoffs and landings, and a nearby training area where you can practice maneuvers. You’ll be able to really focus on learning to fly the plane without being overwhelmed by the radio, watching for traffic etc.. As you master the flying skills we will incorporate flying to controlled airports [which are close by] that are busy with air traffic and has the Air Traffic Control [ATC] controlling the airspace in which you will learn about how to operate in in that busy airspace environment. for example, like getting permission to enter the airspace, merging and cooperating with other traffic, dealing with airspace rules (for that big commercial hub airport nearby) and all the other things that are necessary to know to fly well.
Instinct aviation academy is proud to be the neighbors of The Commemorative Air Force (CAF). It is an American non-profit organization based in Dallas, Texas dedicated to preserving and showing historical aircraft at airshows primarily throughout the U.S. and Canada.Today the CAF has approximately 13,000 members and a fleet of more than 175 aircraft representing more than 60 different types—including planes from several foreign countries and other military conflicts since World War II. https://commemorativeairforce.org/
