Requirements
You Must:
- You must read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Be at least 17 years old.
- Pass a simple medical exam (3rd Class) with an FAA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner; to find the Aviation Medical Examiners in your area go here.
- Have passed the FAA Knowledge Test or be about to take it.
- Either be a US citizen (with passport or birth certificate) or have TSA approval.
- Possess a valid US Drivers License.
- Be ready to spend ~5 hours a day in school for training.
Pricing
Cost: $16,000
- Based on 40 hours of flight time which are FAA minimums. On a national average students take 50-60 hours to complete the Private Pilot Course.
- Students are responsible for purchasing renters insurance.
